Brown Butter Brownie

There’s something magical about a brown butter brownie outdoors. The batter is very simple:: browned butter, cocoa, sugar, eggs — but the flavour becomes deep and nutty.

Ingredients

  • 100 g browned butter
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 dl sugar (200 ml)
  • 1.75 dl all‑purpose flour (175 ml)
  • 1 dl cocoa powder (100 ml)
  • ½ tbsp vanilla sugar
  • Sea salt (for topping)

Directions

  1. Brown the butter and let it cool slightly.
  2. Mix the butter with the remaining ingredients until you have a smooth, silky batter.
  3. Bake for 20-25 minutes in 175°C until soft in the middle.
  4. Serve with ice cream and berries
