Soft cake with apple and cinnamon

A soft cake with apple and cinnamon for the afternoon "fika" when camping is the best treat. You can exchange the cinnamon with ginger or freshly crushed cardamom for a different taste.

Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon cinnamon
  • 3 tablespoons whiter sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 200 ml granulated sugar
  • 75 g butter
  • 100 ml milk
  • 300 ml all-purpose flour
  • 1½ teaspoon baking powder
  • 2 tsp vanilla sugar (optional)

Directions

  1. Slice apples and place them in a bowl, sprinkle sugar and cinnamon.
  2. Melt butter (or use butter-oil mix from the bottle).
  3. Whisk eggs and sugar and mix with the butter.
  4. In another bowl, mix flour, and baking powder, mix with the ingredients above.
  5. Add butter to the baking tin and pour in the mix.
  6. Preheat Hajka on medium effect/flame for 5 minutes – use the plate and the oven grate.
  7. Grease the baking tin and the heat distributor - place the heat distributor in the middle.
  8. Add the mix, place apples on top.
  9. Place baking tin on oven grate – bake for 30 minutes on low effect (small flame)
